White Christmas

It's snowing in Sheffield today! We stayed out in the botanical gardens until Margot's hands got too cold.

Little Brother

Margot is going to have a little brother in May 2010! She thinks it will be a little cousin called Jasper (again), and is still a bit uncertain about whose tummy it's in, exactly.

Winter Walk in the Forest

Margot went for a walk in Longshaw Estate with Edwin, his Mum and Dad, as well as 1 year Roìsìn and her Mum. It was crisp and bright, with lots of lovely puddles to jump in.

Edwin's Dad Aidan has to carry Edwin on his back, just like Margot with her Papa. Until they want to get down, then up again.

Each time the kids get down to 'walk' a bit, they find something interesting to do with sticks.

Edwin and Margot Hoggard-Brown - one day.

I don't remember whether spinning 25 kilos of wriggly child a good idea even if you didn't just have a baby.

Margot and Edwin make their escape.

Riding on a sheep.

Christmas Tree

Went up today, and Margot was in charge of decoration. She put all of the baubles at eye level on the left hand side, for convenience.

Owls

Went to Sheffield's Kelham island Christmas victorian market for something to do this evening. Margot is an expert at owls, so we went to see some.
