Cécile & kids come to Sheffield

This weekend Margot's auntie Cécile, plus Margot's beloved Pierre, Jacques and Pauline can to visit us in Sheffield.
We all had a wonderful time, especially Margot, who had to stay within 2 feet of Pierre at ALL TIMES.
Nana and Granddad came over to visit and we went to see Zoe in a museum (yes really) in Leeds, with everyone.
Lots of pics!

Happy birthday, Jasper!
Baby Jasper arrived on the 10th of September, making him Margot's first first cousin, and Papa and Maman have their first Neveu.
Kisses to Leo and Lisa, his tired Mum and Dad.

First Christmas!
Unfortunately Mum had to work most of Christmas week, so Dad was given sole responsibility for the first time for more than a few hours. Dad was left with a new and enhanced appreciation for Mum.
Margot got lots of lovely presents, including toys and clothes, and didn't even complain when it was someone else's turn to open one!
Disappointingly, her Grandad decreed that stockings would no longer be supplied to his children, since a new generation of children had now arrived.
More pictures in the Christmas gallery.

Family Union
It'll be a re-union next time; Mamie, Papie, Grand"father" and Nana, plus great granny, Mum, Dad, and uncle Marc all in the same house at the same time. It'll be years before another conjunction of that magnitude happens.
Lots of lovely new photos, including some family specials:

Adventures
After a troubled night, Mum and Dad were tired but happy to have granddad Malcolm, Auntie Zoe, and great granny Stella drop in to see baby Margot. Lots of cuddling ensued, and Margot had her first trip to a restaurant - in which she was Very Good (i.e. asleep).
Building on this success, Dad and Auntie took her on a veritable exepdition to the holy land of Meadow-hall, where she enjoyed the attentions of various middle aged passers by, and a quick dinner in M&S. Mum stayed home for a well deserved nap.
